3) she doesn't meet the "central casting test". I can't prove it for sure, but I suspect she would be getting more buzz as younger pragmatic alternative to Biden if she were a man. Dems are still traumatized by Hillary's loss.
4) she doesn't have a clear appeal to minority voters.
On the campaign trail, Klobuchar sharpens electability message

These are good points, but there is still a long way to go in the lead up to the primaries. Klobuchar should really try to stand out in the upcoming debates - particularly if other contenders such as Sanders or Warren are pushing for unrealistic policies, or positions that turn off swing voters.

I don't think female candidates in general are necessarily handicapped by HRC's experience in 2016. She had some uniquely unflattering liabilities in her background that Trump could exploit effectively.

I think the most likely person to beat trump is Bernie sanders, who is not represented in the original post.

young voters like bernie and many older democratic party voters will vote for anyone other than trump.

major voting blocks in the country are anti-capitalist, supportive of big government social programs, and the rust belt working class. unlike the rest of the democratic hopefuls, bernie speaks to them.

Yeah, sure. The GOP is "borrow and spend" so pick your poison.

"Free stuff"....like that wall Mexico is going to pay for?
Have you listened to her? If she says she doesn't believe in socialism, she's a liar. Her entire platform is socialist. Perhaps she doesn't think taking other peoples money to promise "free stuff" to others isn't socialism.
