None of the articles available point out that this is a flip, but according to the current County Executive's Wikipedia page, he is a Democrat: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Kreuser
Good! Democrats won't drop their wokeness until they start losing elections... so, this is a step in the right direction!
Kerkman will replace County Executive Jim Kreuser, who has held the position since 2008. She is expected to take the oath of office in mid-month, but has plans to meet with Kreuser Wednesday to being the transition process. Kreuser's last official day is office is Monday, April 18.

I don't care what party you support you leave anyone in office that long, your city will have problems.
They keep doing what they are doing even knowing how unpopular the gender and race stuff is. They can't seem to help themselves. The low bails that SE Wisconsin counties in the Milwaukee metro area are known for probably doesn't help. People with multiple felonies on their record only getting $1000 happens all the time.
Post when Dane County goes Republican. This is a nothing-burger.
