Sanders has the best chance of beating Trump because he's well known from 2016, all of the dirt that can be shoveled on him is old news, and he's got the army of younger, energized voters behind him. If he's the nominee social media will come alive and the under-35 crowd will be motivated to register new young voters. There's a potential for a youth groundswell but it is not guaranteed of course. There never will be a groundswell for Bloomberg, that I can guarantee.
And so Bernie get 5-10 million more popular votes, and? Given the widespread corruption in this country, the Electoral College throws it to Trump once again!

Saying someone isn't attractive enough for you to sexually assault isn't on the same level as inappropriate IMO. I see that as a way for a man to silence a victim. He used that excuse twice BTW.

I guess that's where we differ as I think a comment such is just your average garage talk amongst a bunch of guys having a few beers. No one is saying that sexual assault is ok but that is how you perceived it and this is why individuals need to be careful with what they say. Just because someone accuses someone does it mean that it happened.

That's exactly how I and a lot of other people perceive it. See, this is what a woman gets when she comes forward. It sends the message that she better shut up about it. Proving that he did it is another matter.

This is why I think he deliberately says things that go right over some people's heads and inflame others. If my daughter said a man put his hands on her and he said "I could do better". We'd have a problem. I'd have a problem with anyone who said that was merely "inappropriate".

Democratic socialism, aka Social Democracy, as practiced in the Nordic model, is not authoritarian. It is the most democratic form of government on Earth, allowing ordinary people to have a great deal of input into decision-making. Democratic socialism is also very pro-capitalist and is business friendly.

“When the World Bank ranks countries on ease of doing business, based on criteria such as starting a company, dealing with construction permits, getting credit, trading across borders, enforcing contracts, or paying taxes, the Nordic countries consistently rank among the most business-friendly nations in the world. In fact, on those criteria, American entrepreneurs would be better off in Denmark, which scored higher than the US in the 2015 ranking.”

At the moment, the "best candidate" is whichever candidate will have the "best" chance of beating trump. At the present time, there is no "best" candidate. But after the Democratic primaries are over and a nominee selected to run on the Democratic ticket, that person will be the "best" candidate.
