Are you sure about that? Most of the dead are in Democrat controlled states. I know here Cuomo and deBlasio have botched the handling of the virus and is directly responsible for the worst outbreak of the virus in the world, making NYC, NYS and NJ area the world’s epicenter of the virus.
The curve in the states on the coast is flattening out. The virus is traveling to the midwestern red states. When Trumpers start dropping like flies, their tune will change.
Why should Biden lift a finger? Trump is doing his campaigning for him every single time he gives a press conference.
When your adversary is busy sabatoging himself - laying low is the smart thing to do.
All Biden has to do is show photos of body bags and the ticker with the death toll. And the ads being released by The Lincoln Project and Republicans for the Rule of Law have been terrific!!! They skewer Trump.
He doesn't have to campaign. Just keep releasing his damning anti Trump ads and let Trump destroy himself every time he opens his mouth. Every time the Covid 19 death ticker adds another death, it's another nail in Trump's coffin.
Actually, the states hard hit by Covid are going to vote for whomever the D-nominee is.
Many swing states are much less impacted and are potentially likely to prefer Trumps approach than that of Biden's as they don't see the need as acutely.
Not to mention that the whole world has been hit hard by Covid, most people aren't stupid enough to blame Trump for that.
P.S. A little dose of reality from someone that never has and never will vote for Trump. If you really want to beat him you need to craft a message for the middle, not the loyalists and stop being so insular in your views of the US because you're losing on that issue imo.
They don’t care if their guy is a turd. They hate Trump so much that if Satan ran as a Democrat, they’d vote him in.
If Trump’s opponent were Satan, Trump would need to sharpen his differences with him so it would seem like a real choice.
