In 2016, Hillary Clinton and Trump announced their running mates in July of that year.
In 2012, Romney announced his running mate (Paul Ryan) in August of that year.

Groan - we might have to wait a long time for Biden then. Maybe he could announce earlier to stave off boredom resulting from the lockdowns.

BTW, is Tulsi Gabbard being considered? She did well in the first few debates and then faded away. Hillary criticized her and then Gabbard filed a lawsuit against Hillary.

Gabbard will not be considered. If you follow the debates, you see how the DNC don't want her. She has good ideas and those ideas do not fall inline with DNC.
