I was vehemently opposed to granting R.E. Lee citizenship. For that dude to go through not one, but THREE pardon attempts, despite being THE military leader of the largest rebellion, ever, against the United States.

With that said, to dig up something like this, now, against someone who went through a few more terms in the Senate, and two terms as Vice President.......!

So have all the confederates whose statues the left is tearing down (or trying to).

Why, then, are they going through all that effort?

I personally don’t care about statues either but I understand the argument some have made that such statues would be better in museums than as public monuments.

Beside, the Democrats party of the 1860s is not this Democrats. The only similarity is the NAME.
Yea, but seems they like to pick and choose in this regard.

They like to claim FDR, but disavow the KKK and other bigot Dems during the same era. They like to claim "they are the post 1968 party", but love claiming all good deeds prior, and saying for the bad deeds "those were current day Republicans back then".

What is funny is that now after 40 years he suddenly has all the answers to straighten out Americas problems...

Ousting his opponent would be a GREAT start!

Joe was a good old-fashioned segregationist when that would win him more votes.

I have no problem with Biden favoring Lee's restoration as a citizen.

Lincoln didn't want to punish Lee after Lee's surrender either.
