The good news was the message was pretty good and there is still four months until the election.
The bad news is that the campaign did a poor job making sure the seats were filled and the outside rally had people attending. I am seeing too many excuses from conservatives. The Trump campaign must learn from this and make sure it doesn't happen again.
You're right. I think they should pack the house in TX. Maybe 500,000 or more. That would be awesome. So much MAGA the world would just shudder and shake.

My friend on the ground told me the enthusiasm level was palpably diminished compared to his previous rallies. There were also awkward moments like his ramp story that really confused his base (maybe the delivery was poor, drawn out, or both). The empty seats did not go unnoticed by the attendees.
With the ongoing pandemic, the record unemployment due to Trump’s abysmal handling of the public health crisis, and his divisive rhetoric, I don’t think many have the patience or stomach for him. Just my take based on observations of many ex-republicans who no longer identify themselves as such due to the stunning atrocities and abject corruption coming out of this administration.
I refuse to believe that even ONE die hard Trump supporter is jaded. They love him . LOVE him. Never Trumpers are a dif breed of Republican. They are Patriots who love their country and see this guy is a joke. He won't lose any support from his base. He could even give reparations to all the black folks and his base would cheer. Open borders his base would cheer. It's not his platform. It's his personality. He knows nothing and dumbs down everything and his base can relate to that. Idiocracy .
