If Pence stays, he ends up being VP for 8 years and that means America will be too bored of him to elect him President (and he's a boring guy, so even more so).
Pence will never be President unless something happens to Trump while Pence is VP. That's his only chance.

No, I think they are both doing a good job.

I know, but I think Pence wants to be President, so he should step-down now to accommodate that dream.

Candace Owens or sheriff David Clarke could be a game changer during these troubled times.

I agree, if President Trump chose to replace Biden with Owens or Clarke, it would make Pence's decision to step-down justifiable.
Pence could use the race riots as an excuse, by saying that America needs more black leadership in the White House.

Pence isn't the problem with the campaign. Trump is the problem. Maybe replace Trump with someone else.

If Pence is replaced it won't be until after the election. I can see Pence resigning to head up Space Force or some big agency. Fewer headaches for him.

We know how Trump likes to try out people in 'acting (title)' positions before making it permanent. He could audition a few VPs as possible Repub candidates for 2024, to give them more visibility. Nikki Haley might be one (unless he makes her Sec. of State, since Pompeo will probably resign after one term, as all Sec. of State do. Grueling job!).

There is nobody powerful enough to remove Trump from the Oval Office, so not an option.
