Yep. We need to save the country and then we can all get back to arguing over policy. I miss the days when there weren't all of these existential threats to democracy by the president.

I know this will cause some people to spill their coffee as well but I have voted Republican before as well. Not in a few years but there was a time I could have voted Republican when it was about policy and not people actively promoting racism and destroying the environment.

How'd it change so quickly? BLM/antifa burned down a small town in America's midwest. That right there ended the, 'Oh but it's just happening in bigger cities.' Now, everyone knows their town could be BLM's/antifa's next target for destruction.

Didn't help that they tried to burn down the Portland mayor's condo building. Innocent people live there, too, and they destroyed a minority-owned dental office in the building in the attempt. (The mayor's not innocent in this, he condoned the burning, looting, and assaults for over 3 months.)

Amen.

The votes this changes the most are ring suburbs of cities, like Kenosha.

Yep. The suburban Moms got a MAJOR wakeup call. Doubt many of them want the burning, looting, and assaults to come to their suburban town, next.

Nope. They also probably don't like being called racists and don't like being told that their country was founded on evil either.

The Democrats didn't think through this Summer of violence and grievance very well.

Just as they failed to realize what the riots of 1968 would do to the voters, and what the mass execution of cops did in 2016 to the voters.

Safety is paramount. No sane person welcomes rioters into or near their communities.
