My reason for not voting for Trump is: he's not fiscally conservative enough. Remember he was the one who added trillions of dollars to the federal debt, mostly due to COVID 19 "relief". Stimulus checks were sent to everybody within the low to middle income brackets, even to those who didn't need it. At this point, I consider Trump to be the lesser of the two evils, but that still makes him evil.
My vote will go to the person who wants to not only cut taxes, but reduce spending, and that person is Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen. She doesn't stand a ghost of a chance of winning, but I'm not going to lower myself and vote for somebody who favors socialism, which anymore is a characteristic of both major parties. This country was founded on Libertarianism, and I want somebody who truly believes in reduced government, more freedom, and adherence to the Constitution. Neither the Democrats nor the GOP fit this bill.
Because Trump shows naked contempt for democracy, the constitution, and every American ideal.
Some great succinct replies here, this one truly sums it up well.
Trump is no mystery. Anyone that took the time to check out his background even before the election of 2016 understand exactly what he was, and where he would take us.
Surprise is that so many people would fall for his simplistic populism. It is a testament to the power of propaganda and the deterioration of critical thinking skills.
Most common responses are that he focuses to much on himself and rich, polarizes everything and is a habitual liar. Least prominent choice has to do with immigration reform.
