Bingo!....that could be the big surprise this cycle....not the polling difficulties in the upper midwest favoring Trump but a polling error in the Sun Belt favoring Biden. The Texas, Georgia, and N. Carolina Suburbs is where you will find the Never Trumpers. They are still in the GOP but did not get on the Trump populist train.

It is a long shot though.

The Baby Boomer cohort in the US, a large component of Trump supporters, is shrinking now at a rate of 1 million per year due to mortality. Meanwhile, slightly more than half of the population growth in the U.S. is from Hispanics. Texas is a majority minority state now, Caucasians make up less than half of the state.

This is why the Republicans fight tooth and nail against amnesty, DACA, illegal immigration, anchor babies and all the rest. They are afraid of losing their grip on power.
Are they weighting the GOP NeverTrumpers???

Again...it's a long shot but there is case to be made here.

I don't know if they are weighting Never Trumpers or not. The big clue that Texas has a significant Never Trumper movement is that while Trump is barely holding on to his lead, Senator Cornyn enjoys a wider lead, anywhere from +4 to +11, depending on the poll. This might represent a split-ballot phenomenon where a good chunk of voters vote Biden (or abstain) but vote Repub down ballot.

Biden should have picked Beto O Rourke or Castro. He would have a better shot at Texas.

Biden is going to win the same states Ike did in the 50's, roughly. With the exception of some mountain states

I don't think VP's really matter all that much do you remember who Hillary Clinton's VP was? Without looking it up?

party doesn't matter at this point. Me and my 17 grave mates aren't voting for sleepy Joe biden. Who would knowingly vote for a guy who's a puppet for another woman who used her **** to rise through the ranks.

I don't think Biden wins Texas. In order to win Texas, he might need to make many trips there. If he gives up Florida to win Texas and loses Wisconsin along the way, he would be in a worse position except for future Democrats that show Texas is winnable.

However, I'd say that if Biden had plans to go to Georgia, he might want to reconsider and go for the bigger EV state. I personally don't think he should go to Georgia either. If he flips WI, MI and PA, he wins. It is that simple. Fight in NC and FL since those are very close and Trump can't afford to lose either of those. Keep Trump's resources on those states.
