Think we'll know election night? Days later? Drawn out legal battle that could stretch to Jan?

I think it would be best for the country if a clear winner is decided election night or a day or two later at the most.

We don't need a repeat of 2000.

Clearly, but what would you bet on actually happening? Especially given things like the decision in PA that ballots can be received and counted out to Nov 6th.

Yes but if the candidate on election night has a considerable lead in say PA and nothing changes much over the next couple of days voters can be fairly confident who won. We might still wait a few more days but there won't be much suspense/ surprise.

It can't go until January, because the electors have to vote in December.

I think it will be called by November 5. While it's true that Pennsylvania could slow things up, I don't think it will hinge on Pennsylvania. It might, and in that case, we'll all be nailbiting for an additional week after election day. But realistically, I doubt it will matter.

I think it will be called by the end of the week at the latest. Then the lawsuits will fly.

By Thursday or Friday of that week we should know.

Trump will be called the tentative winner. Biden will be pushed as "winning" by mainstream media, and Trump will be accused of stealing the election. LOL

But Trump is re-elected convincingly.

Clearly you are naive.
Biden has been leading these states for a while now.
