He didn't have it to spend. If he actually had that money, Adelson would have never stepped in.

Trump had to prove to the old man he was broke before Adelson coughed up the rescue money.

Never forget they are Las Vegas rivals. Adelson wants the GOP to stay in power much more than he cares about Trump personally.

Remember when he campaigned in 2016 and said he'll never take money from big donors

He's desperate to hang on to the big tax breaks. Desperate enough to give trump money after trump humiliated him. Guess money can't buy dignity.

Yeah I mean if that 400million to 1billion he owes is such a tiny portion of his net wealth as he claims, 100million should be a drop in the bucket to him.

He should also pay that money off to avoid a national security risk. I mean, he only took those loans as a favor to the banks, right?

It is rather quite a silly thread with a sillier deduction.

Sheldon doesn’t want the anti-Israel party in power. If need be, he will cough up another $75 million so Trump can get out ads - to play on CNN and MSNBC - about the millions in bribes his son took from our #1 Enemy, along with the references to 10% going to “the big guy.”

Whey would Adelson throw money at a losing proposition, does he have access to positive Trump internal polling?

Not only is Trump losing but the Senate is in jeopardy for the GOP. Even if Trump loses keeping the senate would slow down Biden's agenda. It is interesting that Trump bragged about being able to pour his own money into this. Clearly that is not happening. Perhaps Trump really is broke.
