Yeah, and most of the young people register as IND. I am an IND. The last R I voted for was Bush II in the Great Family Scion Election of 2000. I think all of my family is IND so our Biden votes are embedded in that number.

Arizona is 14 days before election day not sure if that is correct maybe they signature verify as soon as they receive the ballot.
I got my signature verified notice a couple days after the ballot received notice. You can check yours online or sign up for automatic notifications. The also send one when it is tabulated but I haven't gotten that one yet.

If you ever watch John King on CNN when he uses that big screen to examine the votes in various counties in a state... this situation reminds me of what we saw in 2016:

King was perusing the board for Pennsylvania and he noted that 95%+ of the vote was in all these urban areas and other counties that had voted for Obama in 2012. And that Clinton was running out of places to get votes while there was still 25% left to count in more rurals areas. He could see that there was going to be an upset in PA and MI and WI.

He did the same thing in Alabama with the Jones/Moore Senate race. He was looking at the rural areas and saying "there just isn't enough votes left in those areas for Moore to overcome this deficit."

The early votes work in the same way. IF they benefit Democrats, it just means they start off with an "advantage" when the first returns are reported on Election Night. However, one could say it is like John King saying "well, 20% of the urban/suburban vote is counted already." On the other hand, we've never seen this amount of early voting. It is hard to really say what it means. I think it will be more difficult to accurately call toss-up states on Election Night. What if a state starts reporting only the in-person ballots since they aren't allowed to count mail-in votes until after polls are closed and after they handle in-person ballots? We might see Trump ahead in a state like PA only to have the mail-in ballots tally Biden over the top.

And of course we'll hear about "fraud" when/if that happens.

What I think we need to know is... which states are going to report mail-in ballots immediately. For example, if they count them at 12:01 am on election day before the polls open and that is part of the initial results the moment polls close at 7pm... or if they don't start counting them at all until 7pm on Election Day.
I see no reason why the election boards shouldn't count every early ballot and received mail in ballot and report them once the polls close. They should not be waiting to count them until polls close...get ahead of the game and get them counted before hand.

So how does anyone know if the Democrats actually voted for Biden? There isn't any way to know that. People often show up to vote for other offices other than the president, especially when they are repulsed by the candidate. So, Democrats showing up, and we know that many Republicans are waiting for election day............. They have about 4 million registered voters.

The pressure is on Democrats, having to vote now or never, because the pandemic is terrifying to them....
Even the Democrats who plan on voting on election day can't really be sure they will, because that pandemic....
Whereas Trump supporters will deliver on election day regardless.

It depends on the state. Some state laws do not allow any votes to be counted until election day.

To piggyback on that, some states will begin to count mail ballots and early in-person ballots either a little before election day or early on election day, but will not report any results until polling stations have closed (to avoid influencing voting behavior on the day of election). Early votes will be included in the massive data dump once the precincts start reporting. Vote now if you can!

Maybe, but Arizona has been voting by mail for about 25 years and that is the way the vast majority of people regardless of party vote. We have a thing called permanent early voting list where we get sent ballots for every election we are eligible to vote in automatically. It would take some strange rejection of habit for Republicans to suddenly revert to in person voting.
