Fellow Gen Zs and Millennials, amazing show of patriotism by voting early! I hope the voice of our generation will make significant impact in this election. What do you all think?

I'm just excited to see how high the voter turnout is.

(Gen X, BTW.)

I once helped a lady who had never voted to get registered.

No one ever taught her the process, and she had wanted to vote for a long time, but was too afraid to ask anyone how it worked.
I've known her all her life, as she's the the child of a high school friend of mine, so helping her was no big deal for me.

All I did was drive her to the elections office, briefly explain a few things, then wait around while she took care of the job so she had a ride back home.
Now, she hasn't missed an election since, and she's taught her own kids how to vote, now that they are old enough to participate. Both are Millennials.

One afternoon's small job ended up creating 3 active citizens who are now regularly voting. I'm proud something so minor to me had such great results.
I've never asked her who she voted for, and never will. Participation is by far the most important thing to me, as it's the most fundamental part of any democracy.

Thank you for helping that lady and for not making voting partisan. We should all work to promote voter participation, not suppress it.

You guys keep ignoring one major thing: The Democrats could be expending all their votes early. If this momentum doesn't last through Election Day, it will not be enough.

Not to mention that half of this youth vote could be on the R side.

Being conservative is the new form of rebellion politically with young people.

It is certainly possible. I’m celebrating young people participating in the political process and exercising their right. We should all celebrate this regardless our partisan affiliation or non-affiliation. Be well.
