The two candidates are about as far apart as we have ever seen.

You misspelled two words in your thread title.

I've voted Republican since Ronald Reagan.

We have brains too.

If you want me to add relevance to the thread, I'll say this; all who have early-voted are not independents.

What does that have to do with Independent/Unaffiliated voter registration status?

I am not talking about registration, I am talking about people who say they are independent in this election.

My family and relatives are either independent or undeclared in the battleground states, we are all voting for Trump... I would never vote for a RINO and anti-Trumper republicans which we used to call neoconservatives...... That's why we stay as independent...

So what I'm gathering from this thread so far is people who care about spelling must be far left Dems, by Independent voter status the OP isn't referring to anything at all really and any conservative who doesn't support Trump is a RINO.

LOL

Perhaps that is why there are fewer undecideds and fewer third party voters this election?

I like the term unaffiliated better. But yes, there are few undecideds which is why the needle on the polls hasn't moved in months. I get a kick out of watching these so-called undecideds being interviewed after the debate. Most of them have such obvious biases that you know damn well how they are going to vote. True undecideds tend to not show up to vote at all in the end.

My husband has voted red in the past and is voting blue now. His affiliation is independent. Voting a certain way in an election doesn't mean that you have to register with that party.
