Funny isn't it?

She was rejected hard in the primaries... but now she's embraced as if she's the second coming of Michelle Obama. Just shows you how desperate the left is to get Trump out. They will literally vote for anyone...

... including a guy who has been running for President for so long he was actually a punchline on Johnny Carson.

That was funny! Was that his 1988 run, when all the plagiarism came out?

I think Trump is going to win and the stock market will go through the roof.

It's more than stuttering, it's obviously worse than it was just 5 years ago.

I guess one big change is denouncing capitalism, maybe calling each other comrades, and on the 4th of July we'll burn American flags instead of doing cookouts.

I'll go to bed election night.....the next morning

Wife: A lot's happened since you went to sleep....Biden won the election...the lockdown is over.
Me: Well, finally those capitalist pigs will pay for their crimes...eh, eh, comrades, eh..
Wife: Just kidding, Trump's won 12 more years.
Me: Oh, groovy, smashing, yay capitalism!

I'll do nothing different. I'll review my allocations and make adjustments end of year.

I've been in the market since 1987 when Reagan was in office. (Right before Black Monday happened).

And I've never been out of the market since then.

That means I've gone through 'pub presidents and 'dem presidents and it just so happens that in 33 years of being in the market, I've tended to do better during dem presidential terms.

In the end it doesn't matter who is president. What matters when it comes to investing is being a long-term investor who gets in, stays in, and doesn't panic. Long term investors who stay the course tend to do well.

I hope you're right. I sold everything last week because I just had this feeling that this week's big selloff was legit happening... and I was right. So much panic selling going on... it's almost time to buy.

If Harris/Biden win, we'd probably be better off to remove all our money from all accounts and store it under the mattress.

The problem is, he's a marionette being controlled by the likes of Pelosi, Sanders, and the young upstart Ocasio Cortez. If it was just him, we might be OK (other than dealing strongly with China ....).
