In a sign that the John Edwards endorsement is having an effect the first of Edward's 19 delegates has endorsed Obama. The Edwards delegates can now do as they wish and you can be sure they will be encouraged to follow Edward's lead.

That delegate Joshua Denton of Portsmouth, 26, an Iraq war veteran, says:

Quote:
"My fear with Hillary was just because she is who she is -- for better or worse -- she would sink, not just lose the presidency but Democrats in Congress"
That fear that Denton expressed is one that many of us Democrats have. After all, we remember what happened to Congress during the other Clinton's presidency.

Not completely quiet, they spew out the occasional falsehood or unsubstantiated charge, but they know the writing's on the wall.

I disagree there.....they have been braggin about how the WV results meant something but not until Edwards endorsed. They seem to have backed down after that.
