I can't believe people voted too far left and too far right.

Breaking News:

Robert Stark Endorses Michael Shellenberger for Governor.

Can Michael Shellenberger’s Centrism Save California?

"I endorse Michael Shellenberger for governor and plan on voting for him. While Shellenberger has flaws and there is no one who matches my views completely, I expect him to take care of the practical issues that are needed to fix, in order to maintain some semblance of civilization. He could face obstructionism from partisan Democrats in the legislature but I expect his success to come from working with mayors who are open to his ideas. There is a sense that California is a lost cause and electing him would be a morale boost for California."

Newsom has it rapped up after the recall can't have a better poll then an election. The Recall was a bad idea from the start it only emboldened him. Labor unions control the state they have lot of members under their belt who vote on leaderships command.

Why would union members vote against their own interest? During my time as a steelworker there were several union members that voted for whoever the NRA commanded them to support.

You don't live in California do you? I was born there spent first 35 years there still have lot of family there. Labor union is part of the state employment law they are a powerful voice. Politicians don't get elected without them.

Do southern politicians accept endorsements from the NRA?

NRA uses rating system who to vote for they have for 30 years. Newsom will easily win again this is just like Larry Elder talk show host who was far to right for the golden state.

With legal ballot harvesting in the California the candidate with the best ground gameo ie hire enough ballot traffickers and mules will win. Top two voting doesn't help either because the choices can wind up being the sos.

Ballot collection is legal in 24 states you might be surprised which states. California law is the same as Florida, South Carolina, Louisiana if someone is chosen by the voter that person can deliver the ballot.

This is a non issue it sounds good when politicians used words like "Ballot Harvesting" the folks who are less informed think ballots are grown on a farm somehow harvested.

If Shellenberger can make it to the general election"

Failure of California Democrat’s Economic Agenda creates an opening for the Radical Center:

"There is an opening for new ideas and a third way or radical center to take advantage of neoliberal vs. progressive divide. Michael Shellenberger’s campaign for governor might fulfill that role and could win appealing to conservative, independents, and moderate democrats. SFGATE’s Alec Regimbal stated that “Newsom probably feels he stands a good chance of defeating nearly any candidate with an "R" next to their name — and for good reason. However, a race against popular independent Michael Shellenberger or one of the other three Democrats who filed for the primary would be a harder general election contest to predict.â€

Michael Shellenberger looks like the only candidate who has a chance at beating Gavin Newsom in California's governor race:
