Partying like it's 2010. Danielle Neuschwanger failed to get on to the GOP primary ballot for governor, so she's pulling a Tom Tancredo and running third-party on the American Constitution Party ticket. She has like 1/10th of Tancredo's name recognition, but she's a hardcore Big Lie/Trumper wackadoodle. Barring a major October surprise, Polis wins reelection easily. My hunch says this move takes it from a 5 to 7% victory for Polis to somewhere around 15%.

We are the state that elected Republican Lauren Boebert to be our representative in Congress for the third Congressional district, so we should all be hardened by now to the never ending stream of fake drama, fake statements, fake actions and fake everything else that have become the hallmarks of the once Grand Old Party. It is my misfortune to live in Boebert's district and I could tell you tales about what goes on around here that seem to come completely from the twilight zone.

Like I bet you didn't know that Colorado ranchers and farmers stand to pick up a cool $$$ one million dollars to compensate for all the damages from Colorado's rapidly growing packs of dire wolves thanks to the actions of Ms. Boebert. And if you don't know, that's because this never happened despite the claims Boebert made in her latest e-mail to her hapless constituents.

The state of Colorado along with various conservation groups is covering the tab for the dire wolf problem which according to the Coloradan comes so far to $1,800 paid to a rancher for the loss of one calf. No federal funds were used other than imaginary ones.

I really do need to take the time to post about the antics of the Montezuma County so-called Patriots and how Boebert eggs them on to commit their misdeeds.

I hope that every sane Coloradan makes the effort to get out and vote in the midterms to prevent the state from reverting to its old time Republican roots. Come on everyone! Do you really want to have YOUR town turn into a replica of deep red Colorado Springs? Of course you don't!

The state didn't elect Boebert, Ron Hanks, or Tina Peters. All that stolen election/conspiracy theory dumbassery works regionally, but it's a losing strategy statewide. Dick Wadhams, a staunchly-conservative GOP strategist, has already gone on the record saying that Hanks and Peters will torpedo the Republican Party if they're on the ballot come November. He seems to be the only conservative left who's capable of reading the room.

Republicans in Colorado in this election cycle have no chance, the Democratic government is very popular... Polis will only lose if they make too many mistakes.

A Mesa County judge has barred wingnut County Clerk Tina Peters and her Deputy Belinda Knisley from overseeing the 2022 elections in Mesa County. Peters and Knisley are both awaiting trial on multiple misdemeanor and felony charges stemming from their involvement in the breach of Mesa County's electronic voting systems.

https://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...2022-elections

Can't be trusted to do her job in Mesa County, but thinks she should be trusted to run elections for the entire state. If she's nominated, she will lose in a landslide.

Knisley and Peters have more than one court case pending. Peters was also charged with contempt for lying to a judge about recording a court proceeding, and Knisley is facing felony burglary and misdemeanor cybercrime charges related to her attempt to access Peters's laptop while she (Knisley) was under an order from the county to stay away from the Clerk and Recorder's office.

Peters and QAnon nutter (and Lauren Boebert bestie) Sherronna Bishop also face the prospect of federal charges (likely wire fraud) related to the voting system breach.

Derp. It bears repeating that Peters is the topline candidate for Secretary of State on the GOP primary ballot. ROFLMAO.

But it is a matter-of-fact that the 4th district in Colorado is just like the rural congressional districts in Oklahoma and Kansas. The people there are quite deeply devoted to Trump and want abortion banned. For starters, Lamar in se Colorado went 73% for Trump.

The Eastern Plains and Western Slope only account for about 25-30% of the state's population, and registered Republicans are the smallest of the three main voter blocs. You need moderate Front Range votes to win statewide office here. Conspiracy theories and Trumper dumbassery may work well to elect imbeciles like Lauren Boebert regionally, but they're losing propositions statewide.

How many Democrats in CO supported the "Big Lie" from 2016 that Russia "stole" the election?

Colorado voters repudiated the Big Lie idiocy (for the most part). The Three Stooges (Tina Peters, Ron Hanks, and Greg Lopez) all lost bigly. Klannie Oakley won her primary while racist nutter Lori (In)Saine lost hers. Batsh*t Cray Cray Aunt Tina has insisted the SoS results were rigged and she was the winner, and she and Ron Hanks (who still insists Trump won) have asked for recounts.

On the gubernatorial front, Heidi Ganahl is showing just how out-of-touch and incompetent she is. She's spent nearly a year scrubbing her social media of all her pro-Big Lie posts and dodging all questions about election rigging only to pick a running mate who was fired as director of the redistricting commission for spreading conspiracy theory nuttery on social media. She planned a big campaign event to make the nomination official today in Aurora - on the 10th anniversary of the theater shooting. She rescheduled, but only after people lambasted her across the board. She's a moron, and she'll lose to Jared Polis by double digits.
