Are they more protective of their wallets more than the people that work for them, even their own President (and presidential candidate)? It's just amazing that Democrat supporters raised so much more (at least 6:1 ratio), even though the ratio of supporters themselves aren't that great in disparity. Cindy McCain reportedly has a 9-digit annual income. How much of that goes into supporting her husband?

It comes down to this: Republican donors are tired of giving their money to politicians who then turn around and act like Democrats. If we wanted to support Democrat causes, we'd donate to Democrats.

The RNC has raised 10X what the DNC has.

Actually it comes down to Republicans are not going to donate to someone who has no opponents. Only after the Democratic nomination is finished will the campaign for funds begin..

This post may be a bit premature. The Dems had a tough primary and the candidates raised good money for their campaigns. The DNC did not and has not. The RNC is starting to fund raise for the general election and is doing well. The DNC is not.

This article says it all and while we might wish it were true it isn't.

Just because they spread untruths without supporting data doesn't mean Democrats should.

My question is not about DNC or RNC per se. It's about the rest of the supporters.

You cant ignore the DNC or RNC fund raising because its a manner in which funds are... raised for the purpose of spending on the election..

To say that they are not raising money as candidates, is to ignore the funds that the NC's are raising.
