Damn, who knew running on a gun-grabbing platform wouldn't play well in Texas?

Where is the actual poll and its methodology?

Quinni USED to provide their methodology and they ALWAYS polled MORE dems then repubs and ABOVE the real difference between the numbers of registered voters.

They STOPPED. Explain WHY!

I repeat"
" Time to Face Facts: Polls Biased Towards Democrats
The poll cited that 48% of the sample were Democrats. But the electorate, according to Gallup, consists of 31% Democrats, 29%Republicans and 38% Independents.
It appears, that all — that’s right, all of the polls cited in the venerable Real Clear Politics Poll (RCP) average have a bias of at least six points toward Democrats with Independents being underrepresented by at least two percentage points and always leaning more Democratic.

When quinnin USED to provide their" methodology", this was normal, "The Quinnipiac Poll data reveals that “The survey includes 503 Democratic or Democratic leaning voters. That represents 41.43% of the poll participants. Keep in mind that in 2016, that Democrats made up 37% of the electorate"

"Combined, the data indicates that Quinnipiac University may have oversampled “Likely” voting Democrats as part of this poll.

It is no secret why they STOPPED providing this methodology info!

I will not vote for any democrat at this point. I don’t care if they claim to be moderate. Biden claimed to be moderate. The democrat party is dead to me. They have been taken over by their progressive base.

And we are in a pizzlng contest over governor because gun owners think Beto 's gonna grab their guns. IDK how that could even happen. The logistics boggles the mind.

I'm not crazy about Beto. But nobody could be worse for Texas than more years of Abbott.

Abbott keeps running for POTUS oblivious to the fact that De Santis is gone kick his arse.
Beto would be far worse. What are you smoking?

Beto has promise. He's a bit of a renegade, goes off script a little much, could use some reining in. I don't think we've seen the last of him. He's young yet.
You are right in saying we haven't seen the last of him, but not because he has "promise". It's because he's is addicted to the limelight, and will do anything to stay in the public eye. Pair that with his unwillingness to get a real job, his lack of ethics, and his desire to soak taxpayers for his own benefit, he will always find a campaign he can use to fill his and his family's bank accounts.

Speaking of soaking taxpayers why did Abbott tell the freezing in dark taxpayers that their lack if electricity was due to frozen windmills. Could he have been protecting th natural gas guys? They make a lot more money of generating electricity from ng.

Texas does NOT OWN the windmills, so why should Abbott or any other Texas politician be blamed for not having protection?

Default Abbott leading O’Rourke in tightening Texas race: poll 48-43

One poll does not mean much either way. But this is very different than the 20% poll taken by another pollster. And 15% lead in a earlier quinnipiac poll.

Abbott leading O’Rourke in tightening Texas race: poll

Incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is leading challenger Beto O’Rourke (D) by 5 points in Texas’s upcoming gubernatorial race, a recent poll showed.

Abbott had the support of 48 percent of Texas voters compared to O’Rourke’s 43 percent in the poll from Quinnipiac University conducted from June 9 to June 13.

The latest results mark a significant tightening of the race, as a similar December survey showed Abbott in the lead with the support of 52 percent of respondents compared to O’Rourke’s 37 percent.

Dan Patrick would still be running Texas along with a gerrymandered Republican house and senate.

What are you smoking? The Lt gov runs Texas.
