Then you don't live in CA. Ted Bundy, Wayne Gacy or Charlie Manson would win CA against any Republican as long as there was a (D) behind their name,

No, he defeated the recall because the "no" vote was 62%. There definitely was a significant frontrunner, Larry Elder. Conservatives pushed for Elder - hard, and continuously especially during the last few weeks before the recall vote. But the "no"s held the day, it wasn't even close.

Considering he joined Trump's social media site and is attacking Ron DeSantis he's running.

His ballot trafficking- and harvesting operations must be big enough that he doesn' have to sweat his governor re-election.

Republicans could turn it against him saying he has no intention of finishing his term if elected.

He's putting more gel in his hair than ever. I don't think Elvis used this much grease in the 50s. He is so running, and gets more encouraged to do so every time Kamala cackles.

As a liberal democrat, I would much prefer him over President Biden.

Old school liberal/'professional'/white male politician. That will not go over well with the progressive wing of the party. A woke game will only carry him so far.

I've posted previously that I didn't think Newsom would run in 2024 but rather wait until 2028 but now I don't know. He was spotted earlier today going in the back door of the WH with Joe out of town. Wonder what that's all about?
