That's a good way to describe it although he's not a Romney but too close. He will be conflated with Mitt

New poll today shows Fetterman with a +18 lead on OZ.

Out of all the Trump candidates OZ doing the worst. He really isn't well liked by a majority of any party in PA. MAGA's were upset with Trump endorsement of OZ see him as weak and not pushing the election conspiracy enough.

In some respects Oz would make a good senator for the Republicans but who ever told him he had a legit shot wasn't reading the room. I still see RINO thinking if not RINOs in Pennsylvania. Hopefully Walker gets the Georgia seat and they pick up just one senate seat and it not be a squish Republican.
You`re joking I hope. Herschel Walker is nuts. He too is a carpetbagger but that`s not uncommon. Hillary Clinton did it but unlike Walker she has a measurable IQ.

Same poll shows Shapiro +12 over Mastriano. Apart from his extreme religious views, he took part in the January 6 insurrection, and bused people there. He was called to testify for that.

I think it depends on the state and the candidate. Of the three candidates who are in high profile "swing races" Dr. Oz, Hershall Walker and Blake Masters are all flawed candidates. Walker is in the closest race at 2 points back on Sen. Warnock but Masters is 8 points back on Sen. Kelly and Oz being the furthest back on LG Fetterman. Hell JD Vance is making Ohio winnable for Democrats with another statistical tie with Tim Ryan.

Side-bar, I hope Arizona's governor race stays at a 4% for Katie Hobbs over conspiracy nutter and former Fox-10 anchor Kari Lake.

With cities like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and numerous colleges I can see it. The bernie bros who think they are getting free stuff will realize it's not 'free' when socialist policy actually affects their life.

18 points is almost certainly an outlier, but Oz is an absolutely awful candidate and none of the polls have been close for awhile.

The other polls do show a significant lead for Fetterman but not as big.

Exactly, an 18 point lead is a bit of a stretch and an outlier, but it is quite clear Fetterman has a comfortable lead currently. Whether or not that changes over the next 2 1/2 months remains to be seen, but at this point Oz has run an absolutely brutal and has somehow turned off both the Trump Republicans as well as the more moderate faction in the Philly suburbs.
