Naw, the article cited discusses Dr. Oz, the Republican candidate for the US Senate, using a tax break originally intended for Pennsylvanian farmers, not a carpet-bagging surgeon from New Jersey.
The actual take-away is that Republicans LOOOOVE abusing the tax code for personal gain.
...
Buck up though, Dr. Oz's team is finally striking back at Fetterman, calling for five debates, with the implication that Fetterman has been rendered mentally incapable by his recent stroke and hasn't recovered and that getting Oz and Fetterman on a stage will allow Oz to run circles around Fetterman.
Maybe Dr. Oz should spend some time campaigning in Weirton or at least refer to it in his messaging - which would emphasize how little he knows Pennsylvania, since it is located in West Virginia.
Pittsburgh is way beyond being a "former steel town" these days, but that better describes some surrounding communities like Braddock where Fetterman resides.
Yeah you are right, Weirton Steel was in the WV panhandle. Used to go there back in the day and to mills in Pittsburgh, Allentown and Bethlehem. Weirton was an awesome place, had massive 2-cylinder steam engines from 1900 still running their blooming mills when I was there.
But the point remains - Dr. Oz from what I can see has no clue about the heritage of PA. Trump chose him because of name recognition and for no other reason.

Last polls show over 10 point lead for both senate and Governor while polling has some margin of error usually if one candidate holds a +10 or more lead usually they win. I kept saying it statewide elections Trump endorsed candidates will lose.
Hardline Democrats will still vote for the party/him regardless. If he wins he'll join Biden as a model rubber stamp for policy he had little input on instead delegating to staff(unelected)

Fetterman has pulled out to a double-digit lead over Oz, or nearly, depending on the poll.
Oz needs those 5 debates against Fetterman, and needs to run circles around him in those debates, or the Pennsylvanian Senate seat flips from Red to Blue in 2022
