The Arizona republican party has been taken over by the few extreme members which has split the party.

Even the Abortion ban was reduced to 15 weeks that's almost 4 months I think a majority of Arizona is okay with that.

We see the AG Brnovich saying another law that has been on the books from the 19th century will be used. They had a chance to repeal that law as part of passing the 15 week law now you see extreme GOP driving the narrative. Can't win elections by splitting the republican party If Hobbs is able to present herself as a moderate Democrat she will be the next Governor of Arizona. If Lake wins Hobbs will have an easy victory likely not to even be a close race.

Germany is 12 weeks. I guess Germany are extremists. Will Amazon and Google in Germany pay the transportation cost of all their German workers to end their pregnancies?

Why hasn't the American pro abortion crowd gone after Germany. They love their healthcare system but not their abortion laws.

Arizona has a 19th century law that bans abortion at conception maybe you missed that.

The Arizona courts and legislative branch will handle this and as of now it's legal. I take with a grain of salt anything from NPR. They are very bias on the topic like illegal immigration.

Arizona Senate is 16 GOP 14 Democrat
Arizona house is 31 GOP 29 Democrat
Governor: Republican (Ducey supports ban after 15 weeks)
Secretary of state: Democrat.

I know you Dems have no trust in the people in Arizona or democracy but let let me remind you the majority of the voters in Arizona are women. 51% women to 49% men. You are telling me the Arizona women voters can't vote in what government and regulation they want?

Let them decide. That's why the S.C. sent it back to the states. Let the process work and stop with your "the sky is going to fall down" scare tactics.

Believe what you want not just NPR https://ktar.com/story/5132955/ag-ma...nd-in-arizona/ AG Mark Brnovich says pre-statehood abortion ban is law of the land in Arizona. Any person who assists in an abortion that isn’t lifesaving to the mother could be imprisoned between 2-5 years under the 121-year-old law.

Whatever makes you get up everyday. That's 1 politician in a very divided state politically and no such law has been enforced. You think everything that Pelosi or AOC says it will become law.

One more time, AZ is 51% women to 49% Men voter ratio. Women decides the elections in the state. Let them decide what law they want to be under. It's not going to be straight ban unless you want to put your money where your mouth is. 15 weeks is about right to the majority of the residents in AZ.

You always deflect this thread has nothing to do with those two.

Right now Abortions are suspended in the state because the Attorney General announced that this law is enforceable. He is much more then a simple politician.

Of course anybody that challenges your opinions and half truths are deflecting.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona said the 1901 law cannot take effect without court action first to lift an injunction that was imposed in 1973 after Roe was handed down by the Supreme Court.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said: that another law passed this year, banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, will take effect this fall. There have been no reports so far of any enforcement action against organizations providing abortion services or people seeking them, but the ACLU of Arizona said it is taking precautionary steps.

For now, the ACLU of Arizona says that “abortion remains legal,” according to a statement it released Friday, but it also understands that “there is just too much confusion for providers to take on this risk until there is clarity from the courts.”

The confusion is that they are waiting on the courts in Arizona to decide what could the providers could do until the new Democratic law that limits abortions at 15 week that passed goes into a effect in the fall.

The Arizona government hasn't prohibit any abortions. The providers are smart to pause until they get more clarification between the Arizona Legislation and Arizona court.

Why is it when you read the whole facts is a lot different than your posts?

"Brnovich added that his office would ask a court to vacate an injunction put in place after the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 to allow the 1901 law to go into effect."

Doctors are not willing to test the law, and risk prison effectively abortions are not happening in Arizona.

The fact that the legislature failed to repeal ARS 13-3603 when they passed 15 week ban means that is what they really wanted is a total ban from conception.

Katie Hobbs will be Governor here because Trump backed Fake Lake who suddenly flipped from a liberal democrat to a Trump supporter overnight. If Trump had backed someone decent who didn't claim election conspiracy maybe the Republicans would win. Trump is the problem in this state Trump lost in 2020 and now he is going to help lose the Governor and senate seat.

Now you go off about something else and opinions and it contradicts your wishful thinking. ARS 13-3603 is not enforceable because it has an injunction imposed in 1973 and the courts has yet to decide. Add that it contradicts the new Arizona democratic passed law that bans abortions after the 15 week. You can't have 2 contradicting laws. You go with the modern one that just passed compared to a law when Arizona was a Territory.

The ACLU in Arizona said as of Friday : “abortion remains legal" "There have been no reports so far of any enforcement action against organizations providing abortion services or people seeking them"

That kills your posts.

I don't care about your TDS. Trump has nothing to do with this. If the people of Arizona wants Hobbs as the governor so be it. It has nothing to do about abortions or 1/6. If the Arizona residents wants Democrats that support Biden's policies this year, so be it. I disagree. You really have a bad case of TDS when the main topic in this election is the economy, economy, economy and border in Arizona.
