The only thing that makes a difference for the 2022 election is if the democrats make an effort to help people. Given Biden is just like Obama, Clinton and the rest of the neoliberal morons, we should expect nothing and the Republicans to win in a landslide.

The Republicans don't care about normal people unless they can get the wealthy a tax cut or entrench the theocracy. That has been their game for 40 years. The only question is if someone in the democrats takes some initiative.

If you are a Democrat, there is no recession nor is there inflation. If you are a Republican, there is a recession and worsening inflation.

It's that simple. Democrats will not vote based on economic conditions.

It will come down to independents as always.

I just don't know if there's any more downside to the Dems polling metrics, or not.

I suppose if there is a recession, the next chance the Uber left has to pull out of it is ~October 28th, just 10 days before the Nov 8th election, because that is when the GDP figures will be released for Q3.

All the polling & surveys I've read say the economy is the #1 issue by far.
Can things be any worse for the dems?

I think the die has been cast for November and most likely 2024 after the Biden disaster.
