Libs, who are always focused on "eddy current" issues, think everyone else is just as crazy as them. Thus they really believe that the issue of abortion is more important than the economy.

It doesn’t really matter, neither will beat DeSantis.

Maybe. Maybe not.

I remember 2014, when Trump wasn't even mentioned and Cruz was widely believed to be our next Repub President, a shoo-in for sure.

DeSantis is the favorite of the moment, but there's still a lot of time left before 2024, and things could change for him.

Give me a break.

NO ONE is going to vote for wild inflation, rising interest rates, recessions, wokeness, open borders, and falling incomes. No sane person could actually believe that ANYONE would support such disasters and a recipe for poverty. If you do, you really need a reality check.

The nation has glimpsed what democrats want for a future and everyone (except far left wingers) hates it.

It is like selling turds for concessions and being surprised no one wants to buy them.

DeSantis is running for Florida’s governor in 2022 - you know, as in this year. Neither of the Democrat’s vying for their party’s nomination in the August’s Democratic Governor’s primary, which is who is featured in the video, are going to beat him.

I don’t remember Ted Cruz ever being considered a shoo-in for president or frankly even a legitimate contender outside of the far edge of the party. If memory serves me correctly, there was a point where the party powerful thought Jeb Bush could be a shoo-in.

But, the point is, THIS IS NOT A THREAD ABOUT TRUMP.

Jeb Bush was the shoe in 2014 & 2015. GOP establishment and money was on him. Mitt was told to sit down because it was Jeb's turn. Cruz wasn't even liked by the GOP establishment. They picked Cruz at the last minute during the primary to stop the Orange man. Even Pence (GOP establishment) picked Cruz in Indiana to win. Trump had to pick Pence at the end to keep the establishment happy. Reminds of JFK and LBJ in 1960. You have to make deals with people that weren't your choice to get to the finish line.
