AOC's campaign was Grassroots and this Social Democrat wiped out an 8 or 9 term Democratic opponent. He was so assured of his victory he didn't even bother to debate AOC and he had a far bigger war chest to defeat her.

Ilan Omar's campaign in MN was also Grassroots. Talk about miracles! Even the Somalian community wasn't keen on electing her, believing a woman's job is in the home. White younger Millennials from the University district in Minneapolis catapulted this Social Democrat into Congress. And she defeated, I believe, an 8 term Democratic congresswoman.

Know of any other campaigns like this underway for the midterms?

To Clarify AOC did knock off Congressman Joe Crowley who was in his 10th term in part due to him running a campaign he thought he had in the bag. Iman Omar on the other hand did not knock off an Incumbent. She ran in an open seat. Congressman Keith Ellison decided to seek the Democratic nomination for Minnesota Attorney General (which he won and is his current position)
