I don't care who is in charge, its getting to the point where I am going to have to move with in walking distance of my work to make it worth working there. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION. Do we need to regulate the oil companies, WHY ARE THEY GETTING AWAY WITH THIS...WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A SERIOUS MELTDOWN.

We got ourselves into this and neither party can get us out of it. We have cut demand for oil. That means driving less, driving smaller vehicles and being smarter.

Yeah its getting pretty bad. Gas stations cant even charge enough because the price goes up to fast to afford new gas. Gas stations are going to be going out of business, Trucking companies are quickly dying a painfull death. Food is skyrocketing...it takes gas to get it to us. Airlines are spending 18 million more for fuel this year than last. Yes it is bad, and I beleive it has to stop or we are ecconomically doomed. Maybe places like NY can do OK since they have the public transperation..the rest of us...I just don't know.
A gas tax holiday would lower gas costs, which would increase demand, and since gas is already approaching $4, the last thing we need is more demand to push up ther price.
I guess this is what we get for letting our suburbs sprawl out of control without any decent public transportation.
