Yes, the poll suggesting Crist was 6 points ahead of DeSantis was junk. Meanwhile the current RCP polling average shows DeSantis ahead by 9.2%. Maybe he'll end up winning by even more, and those claiming DeSantis is a conservative rock star will get no argument from me and anyone who accepts reality. Florida isn't buying the Democrat platform or candidates, and Republicans will have the state's 30 electoral votes, Senate seats, governorship and at least 2/3 of its House seats in the bag for years to come.
Update: Larry Sabato, who is pretty left-leaning, has now changed the rating of the Florida governor's race from "Leans Republican" to "Safe Republican."
Georgia goes from "Lean Republican" to "Likely Republican."
Could be. But all of those previous polls were done before the migrant fiasco. The Listener Poll is the first poll to be done AFTER the migrant fiasco. That's why I said we'll need to see a few more new polls to get a better take on it.
Ahh, the "migrant fiasco"......that people applauded.

What do you consider a landslide? I generally agree that DeSantis will win rather comfortably, but Florida's political dynamics really doesn't lend itself to a landslide.
This poll was propaganda, showing Crist lead by 5...he lost by 20, so this poll was onl off by 25 points. Random 3rd graders could project better.
The Dems suffered a "EPIC FAIL" in Florida Tuesday losing 62 of 67 counties.
