I've heard some people criticize the Listener Group poll. However IMO it's notable that it's the most recent poll (completed 9/21) and likely is showing that the immigrant fiasco could be hurting DeSantis. All of the other previous polls were too soon to fully show the impact of the immigrant fiasco. While Crist might not actually be up by 6 points - I do believe the race is tightening. Need to see a few more new polls to confirm.

Odd headline for a Poll done in June 2022.
Also odd that this "poll" shows up nowhere at all in the RealClearPolitics polling data.

The poll was done on September 21st and it's listed on FiveThirtyEight:

Reminiscent of WW2 Tokyo Rose broadcasts. 'give up yankee, the Japanese forces will annihilate you with their superior strength. you have no hope".

After months in the lead, DeSantis trails Crist by 6 points in a poll by The Political Matrix and The Listener Group. If accurate, it would represent a wild swing in the race.

I doubt those two polls anywhere close to being accurate. It's the same as the pollsters showing Kelly up by 8 and 12 in AZ against Masters.

The polling data was likely designed to provide those paying with what they wanted to hear.

In all the years I have been into politics, I learned never to use polls to judge the outcome because they are usually wrong.

The last 10 RCP polls has DeSantis winning and the last legit poll they have him by 7% and the RCP prediction is GOP hold. So I don't know who the Crist's camp paid to get a favorable numbers to keep getting donations. Donations to a campaign depends on polling. Somehow if the camp gets a favorable poll regardless if it's questionable they can go to their donors and ask for more money. That's why I don't trust some polls.
