The Heritage Foundation? you gotta be kidding. Just how much money Joe is swiping from us. No fan of Joe's but did they do the same study for TFG? Bet Restate will not print how much Trump cost us.

One of the issues all of wanting a 3rd party have is getting the truth. Each team tells all the good their side does and none of the bad that would come with it. I want the honest to goodness pros and cons. Kinda like the League of Women Voters does when they study an issue.

Every bill that congress votes on to fix a problem has pros and cons. If we do X, Y and Z will happen. We don't get that anymore. Just one side yelling the other side is all liars and thieves.

If Trump wanted to he could technically start his own MAGA party and probably break of half of the Republican party and cease it from being a national party.

I despise Democrats, but admittedly, many Republicans aren’t much better, if at all.

To be honest, I’m not convinced that this country can even be saved.

Trump isn't stupid. He would be far more likely to pay someone else to front a new political party to compete with the DNC. He has the funds and resources to make it happen, not to mention significant experience in the political arena.

The country didn't need saving 4 years ago. What changed? And what does it need to be saved from?

Well in order to get a third party recognized they need to receive 5% of the national vote.

Libertarians came the closest....3.3% in the 2016 election but fell to 1.2% in the 2020 election.

People prefer D or R so we get what we get.

I encourage all Democrats to vote for third party candidates. The mainline Democrats do not support your progressive ideals. Only a third party can offer you that which you desire.

Sadly our government is run by elite ologarchs that are out of touch with the American people, and more interested in making money for themselves rather than the country's needs and wants. I doubt if a third party would succeed because of our electoral system that is geared to two parties.

Karl Rove, is that you? Are you still funding the Greens to siphon off votes from the Ds?

I agree somewhat, but Trump is heading in the right direction. Convincing the Republicans to get rid of all the RINO's and packing the courts during his term with decent judges.

With the mid terms coming up, why vote for either gang?
Because if I don't the Dems will, claiming they are impartial and the only ones capable of critical thinking.
