If the republicans fail to win control of the house of representatives it will go down in history as one of the biggest political failures ever.

Another good sign for democracy. The MAGAS are really helping the Dems along with Roe.

Heading in the right direction, but it is really only a small change in chances over the last couple weeks. 538 has the difference between slightly favored and favored categories at a little over 70% chance. Last couple weeks it was hovering in the 71-72% range and today it is showing 68% chance.

Ok Children, the house is gone! Bye-bye Pelosi. You are drinking the kool aid if you think the house is in play and Pelosi will be back. They are playing the base to get $$$$$$ and fool the Democrats. Even at the jaws of defeat they want to squeeze in money.

I guess Goofball86 thinks that abortions on demand is the #1 and only issue. Typical democrat, ignores the top 4 issues and only repeats abortion. LOL

Just another obvious attempt to depress Republican voter turnout. I guess Silver realizes he doesn’t have any credibility left to lose.

Trump squeezed money out of his tinfoil hat cult followers after he lost the election then diverted the money to his own pocket.

Deep down do they really believe the house is in play and Pelosi is returning? They are really drinking the kool aid. Pelosi wants lots of donations before she leaves.

Sounds illegal. Another criminal charge on your wishful thinking list. Is it 3 pages now?

If the Dems do keep the house they should elect Adam Schiff as speaker

Not illegal. Trump is funneling the money into a Leadership PAC.

It isn't very helpful to the party though.

Leadership PACs are like slush funds, regulation on them is lax, so the principle beneficiary (the owner of the PAC) can spend the money in ways that benefit them personally. Apparently there are no legal requirements to distribute the money once raised.

Trump found out about this and now funnels money from every new type of appeal he sends out into the same PAC, then he often doesn't use the money for the purpose of the specific appeal. He sends out a lot of appeals for different reasons which feed the same fund. It is piling up in there, but Trump can also use the money to cover many of his own personal lifestyle expenses.

Nothing about this is illegal, that is how this type of PAC was set up by lawmakers. Apparently when they wrote the law, the lawmakers assumed that honorable people would use the money as it was intended.
