I didn’t watch it, but Demings has no chance against Rubio.

I would have preferred her over Kamala Harris for the VP pick two years ago, though. The Democrats would probably be a tad better off today, if as VP, she could draw from her police background, to push back against the Defund the Police talk from other members in the Party.

Unfortunately the better Democrats are going to be pushed out of the politics and Party, so more extreme ones from NY and California will be empowered but run a weaker party.

Even Tim Ryan is fighting an uphill battle and Sherrod Brown in two years. My guess although it is too early is Gavin Newsome will run for President in 2024 and be the nominee, be the coastal elitist Democrat and the party will continue to steer in that direction, but will lose.

Demings reminds me of a school principal I had in Miami. She down talks to people and uses her hands. The way she was talking to Rubio I thought Rubio was an 8 year old and broke the dishes and she sent him to bed without cookies.

Nope she's just very intuitive and knows what others recognize about him.

He initially showed some signs of integrity and principled solutions to problems back when he was running for president.

Instead of sticking with that he sold his soul and became a Trump boot licker.

She's real. His shameful look is also real because he knows she has his number like most sane people do.

The only number that matters is Val will lose just like crackhead Andrew Gillum. You democrats think by pushing black liberals it makes your vote smart.

I'm not a Democrat. What does her race have to do with anything?

She's smart, real, down to earth and has a lot of common sense.

Rubio can't even manage his own life, much less be expected to accomplish anything in DC.

Apart from abortion on demand with no limits which is the #1 issue for you, how is she "smart" to you?

Republicans and Independents (including Libertarians) disagree across the board. But you're not a democrat.

Socialist? Communist? Green? Which is it?

It appears she is a Republican who only criticizes elected Republicans, while constantly praising Democrats.

Perhaps Liz Cheney is gracing us with her presence?

You seem angry & jealous, that here in the 2022 election, not only in Florida, but across the nation, the Democratic Party--- the party of inclusion--- has fielded an array of qualified, knowledgeable, hardworking candidates who happen to be representative of our multiracial America. You know, candidates who believe the economy should work for everyone, health care is a right, our diversity is our strength, and democracy is worth defending.

As opposed to the perfect symbols of Trumpism, fielded by the Republicans, for whom grievance, disruption and attention are the objectives, and productive serious effort to effectively govern our country is not only invisible but impossible. Power to the GOP is the goal...period.

Why do you feel the need to label me or anyone else for that matter? Just curious.
