Lee definitely had the upper hand, but I don’t think he was strong enough to really change too many minds.
Hopefully he was good enough to barely squeak by with a win.
I still think this hag bimbo will win though.

Agree with you.

The best exchange for Zeldin was when he said something like "She still hasn't talked about locking up criminals." Hochul's response was along the lines "I don't understand why that such a big deal to you."

Well, Zeldin and many other New Yorkers have been victimized by a crime wave that is solely the responsibility of the Democrats and their radical policies like no bail and no prosecution. Pretty tone deaf response from Hochul. I don't think there are enough undecided/persuadable voters for it to matter, but maybe.

She lost this debate.

I know of NO one from NY who likes this nitwit - Hochul.

She would locked the whole state down if given the chance again and fire Medical Staff.

Crime is a big Issue. She does doesn't care.

She talked and talked and yet said nothing.
All she was obsessed about was the removal of guns, and yet, every day there is a gun violent story on the news.

her constantly bringing up trumps name was completely idiotic, there was no need for that.
But, she clearly said she would vote for Biden again, so why couldn't Zelden say he wanted Trump to run for President again.

what made her special?

I think she is a complete nit wit, she hasn't done anything to help the safety of New Yorker's.
She is completely useless.

She apparently wants to remain weak on crime while legalizing hard core drugs in her state. Things are bad now, but they could get way, way worse if this woman remains in office.

I hope that NY voters are smart and take the opportunity to vote her out NOW.

Unfortunately I think that you're right it's New York State after all. A state that has had for decades one of if not thee most corrupt legislatures in the entire nation. This is what the majority of voters wanted and voted for now they've got it. Too bad for the rest.

Yes, New York has more corrupt officials than any other state. Lawmakers led away in handcuffs seem like clear signs of a corruption problem in New York State.

In fact, ‘The data shows New York State has led the nation in public corruption for decades.’ A key factor Heer elides over in this is the involvement of “the media.”

That's someone who just said she woke up every morning worrying about New Yorker's safety.

She really was tone-deaf about crime. She warned about Zeldin replacing the DA as if that were a BAD thing, as if it were tyrannical, but if state laws already prescribe a way to do this then it's not government overreach.
