McCain might as well quit now. I am sure that when his campaign looked at the electoral map, they were counting on Washington - probably about as much as they were counting on DC and Mass.

Lol, and the OP should have mentioned that King County prefers anyone over McCain. Many people in the rest of the state outside of the loony bin of Seattle still have a bit of common sense.

Other polls show Obama with a much larger lead in Wa. Nonetheless I am proud to be a resident of a state that will vote for Obama.

Other interesting highlights from the poll:

Obama leads McCain in every age group but 51-64

Obama leads McCain in every financial category but those making under 25,000 a year

Obama leads McCain among the college educated (no surprise here)

Obama had a higher proportion of independents than either McCain or Clinton.

Proud to be resident of a state that will vote to install in office a radical left-wing socialist who plans on unilateral disarmament and taxing the living hell out of productive Americans so that he can fund his insane "progressive" schemes huh? Brilliant. Just absolutely brilliant. You lemmings are happily heading towards the cliff and you'll drag the rest of us who know better right along with you. Thank you very little.....

Wa. hasn't voted for a Republican since the eighties. Eastern Wa leans GOP, but most of the counties in western Wa will vote for Obama.

Only a six-point lead? I would have thought double-digits at the very least.

Could be in play.

How do you know they will all vote for Obama? Seems a bit egocentric, don't you think? [edited-misread post]. You can't just assume they will vote one way or the other, anything can happen between now and November. Please spare us from the Obamanism (what is a religion now?) that you are forcing down our throats.

Other polls do show double digits.

Trends, this is a blue state. No offense but this isn't SC or Ala., we're generally progressive.
