As a Dem in neighboring Ohio, I do like Andy Beshear...he seems very much like the Tim Ryan and Sherrod Brown type democrats...they fight for the more kitchen table issues over the cultural wars.

Even though it is as Red of a state you can find, many Kentuckians still consider themselves Democrats believe it or not. Long history here. I am visiting my family in KY and a Beshear ad just came on and I asked my 2x Trump voting parents if they like Beshear and they said...oh yea he's OK with them. When looking at KY politics it's best to leave logic and reason out of the equation.

The problem is Beshear is getting campaign money from the democrat party, and he WILL be required to fall in line with the democrat agenda. If you're comfortable with what the democrats are doing with the economy, schools, environment, police, failed social programs, then vote for him. But, don't complain later that your kid in school is being indoctrinated or worse.

Just look at every democrat state governor and look where those states are at right now. As a former New York State immigrant into Kentucky, you really need to think about voting for Beshear. He will be told to fall in line.

I felt like i got out of prison when we left NYS and i can honestly say i, for once in my life, feel FREE living in Kentucky. You don't know how well you have it here until you lived in a democrat run state. All i'm saying is beware of beshear....he will change this state because he will be told to make it a complete BLUE state.
