Economy is fine and on its way to recovering from a mere downturn. Bush economy is one of the best in decades. In a typical recession, MILLIONS of people lose jobs. MILLIONS. Inflation skyrockets.
A couple hundred thousand people lose jobs and the price of gas goes up due to issues that can't be controlled and people start with the typical doom and gloom bull****.
Raising taxes (as all liberal democrats do) and starting new entitlement programs that benefit the bottom feeders of this country will only help the losers and scum (ALWAYS democrats).
Oh please. This recession can blamed on Bush starting an incredibly expensive war--a war that he thought would be a silly little skirmish. He thought we would be in and out just like with his Daddy's Gulf War, and we would get lots of oil, to boot. That was his idea of boosting America's economy. The "War on Terror" may yet bankrupt this country, much in the same way that going to war with Afghanistan financially destroyed the Soviet Union.
By repealing the Bush tax cuts Obama would impose the biggest tax increase in U.S. history. If taking money out of taxpayers' pockets stimulates the economy why did the Dems in Congress a 150 billion dollar stimulus plan that does the exact opposite and now argue for another dose of the same medicine? Can someone say 'schizophrenia?'
Oh please. This recession can blamed on Bush . . .
Can you provide a cite as to any expert that states we are in a recession? . . . . didn't think so. Therefore I'm sure you'll agree that the seven years of uninterrupted growth can be attributed to Bush!
