Santos was losing no matter what. A Republican in New York better be a Pope or they will throw you out. If they could make Cuomo quit. Santos was easy to throw out.
Long Island is a big reason why the Republicans took back the house with the sweep in 2020, LaLota, D’Esposito, Garbarino are going to have a tough time repeating now that there voting record is out in the open.

As to Santos, at least the (R's) will purge a bad apple, but the (D's) keep theirs for overall power reasons despite their anti-American, anti-Sematic, beliefs.
Comment or is this another post you will ignore.
The republicans wanted a border bill, then claimed it was DOA while they impeached Mayorkas, they have no accomplishments this term, none.

My daughter used to live in Levittown. Isn't the 3rd district Peter King's (R) old district?

They passed a bill, way back in May, it was ignored by the Democrats.

not surprised. Santos unexpectedly flipped the seat from D to R. A shocking fluke that the community organizes wouldn’t let happen twice.

And that bill passed in the house so why wasn't it signed into law, why wasn't the Asylum Loophole changed which is how they are legally claiming it? Republicans have been more concerned with theatrics than leading and now they follow fearless leader into rejecting what they claim they want because he said so. They could have considered it and proposed areas of change to tweak the Senate proposal but with their inability to think and act for themselves that will never happen.

LI is very "skitzo" in voting patterns. As in the difference between Nassau/Suffolk (proximity to Queens), North Shore/South Shore (wealth), and of course, Farms on East End (rural). This would make a difference in House races. As they say, all Politics is local.

The attempt to play the Uno-reverse and blame Republicans for what Biden's day 1 Executive Order did is duly noted.

That may sell to the party loyalists but not for others.

Judging by how things are going in the polls, you may want to get serious about topics instead of trying to blame everyone else or claim it's not real, you're just making average American moderate angry. The only reason we're not staring at a complete slaughter in the Presidential election is because it's Trump.
