Interesting how so many can talk about not knowing Obama. Are they blind?
Obama political career has come to national attention at the same time unprecedented advances in documenting technology have. In particular, the advancements of the internet & camera make for the entire world to do instant fact checks of past and instant reporting of the present.
I don't think any other candidate in history has had so much of their career & life scrutinized & documented for all to judge.
On the other hand who is Mccain the maverick Il like when he denounced the Bush tax cuts, the Bush war tactics or when for three years he called for Donald Rumsfeld to be replaced. Or the Mccain that now supports the Bush tax cuts & believes in staying in the Bush Iraq war even when the Iraqi government & people want us out.
