McCain's call for an end to the coastal oil drilling is somewhat at odds with his oft-stated view that drilling should remain off-limits in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the Everglades, the
Grand Canyon and other sensitive areas.
I guess he knows he has no chance in Ca. but I don't see how this helps him in Fla. Anyway, this is just political grandstanding, even if McCain wins, he will be dealing with a Democratic Congress. There is no way they would lift the federal ban on offshore drilling.

Yep, and maybe someday, though I wouldn't count on it, McCain is going to learn that we are living in an age where every lie, every flip flop, every contradiction is there for all to see.
