Seems like every other post on here is becoming "McCain gains in poll" or "Obama up in latest poll". I wish to remind everybody that the election is 5 months away!! The polls mean absolutely ZERO right now! There is no use in taking or publishing a poll this early! It is a worthless waste of time and money.
The world can change in a single day- as it did on 9-11-01. Things will certainly change between now and November. The issues we are hot on today may not even be in the top 10 by then.

You should have placed a poll thread, with

"have we had enough poll results? "

haha

Like winning the lottery or even being struck by lightning, this is one of those rare occasions when I'll agree 100% with KevK.

Considering McCain's current standing in most of the polls, I'm really not surprised.

I am going to continue to post polls and continue to label the threads as being a poll. Thus you can selectively elect not to read the thread and avoid the polls. Those wanting to see the various polls and the commentary of the pollsters can do so. I see the pollsters and their interpretation as no different then us. They have data to support their reflections and we may or may not. That being said I would suggest that everyone posting a poll identifies it as such so those not liking poll threads will not be disturbed.

polls should be anonamous.
CDF do not appear to be.
therefore they do not represent many who abstain

I think you're referring to different "Polls" than the OP.
