I went to a Catholic high school, and the girl next to me in religion class was Jewish. Your point?

So that makes him a Muslim. Wow that's a stretch.

But I sort of agree with you in a weird way. His religion should not be an issue. I really wish it wasn't. If he were Muslim, what would be wrong with that anyway.

His mother chose for him to attend this school and was very much into the muslim religion as she married a muslim and liked their culture. Indonesia has one of the most extreme muslims and for Obama to make the remark that the cover of the magazine was an insult to the American muslims....I don't understand this, he always called him self a Christian and now saying this....and what kind of a Christian church he belongs to....OMG, it is getting worse and worse with Nobama.
I guess it's time for me to tell all my muslim friends that I have to hate them for their religion. Whoops! That might be hypocritical.

Wow....you really take this to the extreme....I mean your distrust, hatred and outright negative attitude towards Obama. I guess you were in the room when the decision was made to send Obama to that school huh?

In all honesty....who gives a $hit. Seriously. Both candidate are severely flawed, both candidates lack the experience to run a country let alone their own state duties and honestly both candidates, regardless of who wins will leave us lacking a real leader. But to go to the lengths that people go to in order to discredit someone is utterly ridiculous. What happened to the fact that he attended a Christian church (Rev. Wright's church that is) for 20 years? You think he did that to cover his Islamic ways? Make up your ****ing mind (not you particularly you) in order to discredit the man and either way RELIGION MEANS $HIT when electing a president. WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't make sense to me why so many members of the anti-Obama camp equate Obama's suggestion that a caricature of Muslims may be offensive to American Muslims, with him personally identifying himself as a Muslim. That's some of the most ridiculous "logic" (if you want to call it that) I've come across on this forum.

If people make fun of Mitt Romney because he's Mormon, and I (an Agnostic) defend him, does that automatically make me a Mormon? If someone draws a caricature of a Jewish person as a lawyer with a big nose and lots of gold jewelry, and I suggest that Jewish people might be offended by that, does it automatically make me Jewish? If a political pundit calls Christians out as being obnoxious, sanctimonious, deluded sheep, and I attempt to justify their religion, does it automatically make me a Christian?

No.

Whether or not the magazine article was in good taste, and whether or not the caricature actually does offend American Muslims is not what I take issue with. I take issue with certain people's assumptions that because Obama defended Muslims against mockery, he is a Muslim, himself. That's just stupid, IMO. And even if he is/was a Muslim, who the hell cares? It has nothing to do with his ability or inability to be President.

Obama says he is a Christian and I'll take his word for it. Imagine if somebody questioned your faith? He sat in the pews of his church for 20 years instead of a mosque and I haven't seen him praying 5 times a day, have you? The school he attended in Indonesia was not religious anyways as CNN found out after FAUX NEWS blatantly lied about it. Sanrene keep spinning the falsehoods about Obama and perhaps some fool will listen to you.

Yes we do. He wants change. Change change and more change.

Only problem is he never told anyone what change he is referring to or how he intends to make that change. He just shouts we want change and everyone cheers the dumb fool.
