I'm open to listening but you've made no argument other than attempts to justify war with possibly, maybe, could bes, that's not enough in my view.
And "we are where we are" yet we "aren't on 9/10/2000"??????

YOU are the one with the closed mind you accuse others of having.
YOU've argued "human rights" which is laughable.
YOU are the one making excuses with statements like
"Even if WMD didn't exist which the rest of the world thought there was a chance they did "
Thinking something possibly might be is a damn poor reason to invade a country.
YOU need to learn that continuing a mistake does not somehow mysteriously change it into the right thing to do.
Your argument reminds me of those who during the Vietnam War argued that "if we pull out now those who've died will have died in vain", WHERE is the logic in sending more off to die for a cause that was NEVER worthy in the first place? The ONLY thing it accomplishes is having MORE people die in vain. |

Okay man your right I'm wrong....I was stating my opinion of the situation and since your still were bringing up what has it done for us like we can change that or anything about that...I assumed....you were in the past.
I would also check out the news...they will be coming home or going to Afghanistan soon....is that worthy?

THAT's exactly what really gets me PO'ed, IF we had concentrated on Afghanistan and FINISHED the job in the first place instead of diverting forces to Iraq which presented NO IMMINENT THREAt then more than likely the Afghanistan situarion wouldn't be deteriorating as it currently is.
And NO! "Going to Afghanistan" instead of coming hiome IS NOT WORTHY! |
