Wow. So YOU'RE the one who knows everything. Wondered who it was. I would suggest that you look at the recent polls for the middle America states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, etc. etc. Middle America would appear not to agree with you. And I'm about as "middle America" as you can get. I live in Wisconsin. I'm an older white female. I'm the widow of a Marine who went to Viet Nam. I am the mother of a current soldier. I'm an Evangelical Christian who is pro life. And I would NOT vote for McCain if he were the only candidate running. I love my country and to watch the constitution that makes my country great being shredded during these past 8 years has made me very angry. I love our soldiers and to watch them being used as cannon fodder so that Haliburton can increase its profits makes me very, very angry. John McCain promises more of the same and this country that I love can NOT take 4 more years of the same. Another 4 years of destroying our constitution and using our military for corporate greed will destroy us. THAT is what middle America thinks.
I just received an e-mail that was so awful, I wouldn't even pass it on. It was quoting Obama from the things he has said in his books. It clearly showed him to be a racist by what he has written, not because of something his pastor said.

Anyone who thinks Obama can will is either delusional, young, or out of touch with middle America. It is middle America that decides elections and some people actually think they will vote against a veteran! That is not the way America thinks. I can not be any clearer than this.

How many years has Obama been in the senate? Jesse Helms was a senator for 30 years. Yes he was a Patriot. Had nothing to do with race, it was about service and a job done well enough to get elected five times. When Obama does that, I'll discuss it with you. My prediction is that it won't happen. Obama could have stayed a senator, but he is applying for a job he is not qualified to do. Career over!

No, I didn't check anything. I had already decided for myself by listening to Obama and his wife. I am not going to be fooled by Obama. I am voting for McCain. He is more believeable. Some changing your mind is natural, but when you change what you say with every different group, something is not right. I would rather have a president I can trust.
How do you know you can trust those websites. If I were going to check something out, I would do it myself by reading the material myself. That is one of the reasons I did not pass it on. I only pass on things I am sure of, but how can a quote be wrong unless it is misquoted. He either said it or he didn't.
