According to the latest Rasmussen Generic Congessional Poll Democrats retain a significant lead at 47%-34%. I think it's safe to say the Democrats will increase their majority..good news indeed for those who care about the future of America.

Quote:
Rasmussen Reports tracking data also shows just 16% of voters believe the nation is heading in the right direction, while 79% think the country is heading down the wrong track.

The Dems deserve an increased majority because they have done such a great job since they were given the mandate in 2006.

mandate? since when is a 51-49 majority in the Senate a mandate? the House passes because the Dems have the numbers then the Senate kills it or Dubya whips out a veto pen he never used until November 2006.

Well at least we'll finally have a large enough margin of Dems under Obama to get things done now. Without the GOP digging their heels into the ground on every piece of legislation.

I keep warning the Republicans to prepare themselves as a very very minority party. In some states the GOP has virtually no voice & now at our nation's capitol the Republicans will be doing KP duty for years & years [Alleluia
