This proofs that the troops did a good job...freedom is getting back in the streets and people get to do things that weren't possible when Hussein was in power.

I wonder if they will do as well as when they were in the 2004 Olympics.....and we were also still at war? Why were they banned again?

They were banned because the Bush installed Government dissolved the Iraqii IOC. The IOC banned them citing political interferrence.

Yeah, the 4124 confirmed American dead and their families are quite literally thrilled to death.

After all they didn't have anything better to do with their lives.

In what way? Those countries were invaded, and the U.S. came into the war to defend them. Iraq wasn't invaded by Saddam Hussein. He was a lunatic, but if our main reason was to "free the Iraqi people", why not invade North Korea and save those millions from starvation? Why not invade Somalia and restore order? Why didn't we invade the Democratic Republic of Congo when nearly 6 million people have perished there since 1998, the worst conflict since World War II?

Answer me that.

I did not realize that getting the Iraqi's back into the Olympics was part of the war plan. I thought it was about fighting terrorists (who by the way are still bombing and thriving in AFGHANISTAN!!)

You are really reaching for a positive aren't you?
