Better to refer to the 'pro-lifers' as 'pro-birth', as this is a far more accurate description of what they are about. They support the right to be born but always seem to vote against the education and welfare reforms that actually support people once they are alive.

Doesn't such a child need more love and attention than a child not so afflicted? Proper family care and support is very important for these children and how they will learn and progress through their lives.

How lucky, that she could afford to hand the kid over to other people. I guess right to life for her, just means carrying it for nine months and not much else.
Since you know her business please cite WHO took care of the children?

Wouldn't be the dad would it? since you know her business and all....

And come to my union job and see all the dads who take a leave for child care so they can stay home while their wives work. This is the year 2008 in case you didnt notice. The year Dems love, with EQUALITY for WOMEN, remember? Some of us actually have husbands......but that's a foreign concept to so many of the Obama supporters I guess....

Actually she has stated that her husband works 700 miles away from them for the oil companies as well as commercial fishes. She relies on a network of family in the area to take care of the children, and her older children to watch the younger ones. I will see if I can find the link to where I read those comments.

She has a "special needs" newborn and instead of sacrificing her career for the most important thing in her life she accepts a position that will keep her away from her child for most of the time. At least as Gov. she would have stayed grounded. She's hit the campaign trail leaving behind a special needs newborn baby to some else.. IT'S PATHETIC and not the message she should be sending young mothers.

A new born baby needs its Mom more than anything. Anything less is just skating responsibilty.

Is that a problem? Her baby will be with her, I'm sure. She is breastfeeding, you know. I'm sure that's a disgusting thought to you.

You're talking two months for the campaign. Isn't that what family is for? Don't you think her husband would be keeping the home while she is away.

I know, a concept so foreign to the bots, but it happens everyday for millions of people. If you don't have that family structure, as it appears for most of the bots, I can see why you would show so much ignorance on the subject.

Here it is Transcript: TIME's interview with Sarah Palin - TIME

Quote:
You have five children. You must be incredibly busy.
I'm just very blessed. My husband loves being a dad as much as I love being a mom. I've got great help there. But also my immediate family and my extended family, for the most part, are Alaskans, they're here, helping with a network, a support system. I got a couple of aunts outside in Washington state too who are very, very helpful to me. So logistically speaking it's not impossible what I'm doing. I've got great assistance. And having big kids in addition to the little ones... the big kids help out so much with the little one.

My husband is a commercial fisherman. He also works up in the north slopes in the oil fields.

Thank you for the more probable facts. That sounds like the typical American family to me, families helping each other.

So the baby will be going with her overseas when she visits heads of state? Good for her breastfeeding, that must be difficult with such a busy schedule. That also explains why she does not spend much time in Anchorage but runs the state from her home town.

Will they all be moving to Washington? Are my tax dollars going to pay for this?
