Interesting that the same people who are questioning her "judgment" have no problem with Obama's judgment to align himself for TWENTY YEARS with a shrieking, spewing bigoted race-baiter whom he called affectionately his "spiritual mentor."
Yes his judgment has been written, discussed and accepted/rejected by the electorate over a period of time. That was vetted in public. Now with her being not well known and with McCain not having done it prior to selecting her it is now her turn for voters to discuss, write and then accept/reject.
The missing part of the rumor from this discussion is the ALLEGATION that her daughter was out of school monthssssssssssssss with mono and out of sight. That part of the rumor could have been put to rest had she been vetted and her daughters attendance at school verified and pictures of her during this time period available. It is that question about her school attendance that spawned the rumor. Will folks be snooping around her school on Tuesday when they go back (assuming they do) to try to find out? Who knows!

Yes, immediate medical intervention is even more important when you know you are having a child with a pre-determined disability, which can cause a variety of physical malformations, including severe heart defects! And when the due date is still weeks away and you are 43 years old. This is NOT what would be considered a low-risk pregnancy! If this baby actually is hers, she exercised extremely poor judgement that should in no way be supported or condoned.

Imagine what their reaction would be if they were the ones that were on the receiving end of this type of speculation. I recall a girl comitting suicide over cyber bullying...do any of us want that responsibility on our heads?

I am very well aware of the impact of and have been involved in from protecting families and have a great deal of sensitivity to. That is why she should have been FULLY VETTED and this as an issue would have been known and could have been put to rest. This is life on the national stage and is why so many opt not to run for this very reason. Palin should have known or had it explained to her prior to the offer and acceptance. Obama and McCain have been hit hard as have their families and boy have their families been hit hard. Biden has taken it on the chin over the years and his son has been discussed. This was a topic prior to her selection and if they were not prepared for what does that say?
